The Most Popular NPC of All Time
Greetings my fellow adventurers! I am called Prism and I have journeyed far and wide across the continents of the world and now that I have seen so many things this gorgeous world has to offer, I'm wandering about seeking the opinion of anyone I encounter about who, during their own travels, deemed most worty of mention and admiration. Some of the replies truly stunned me as some even admired the qualities of people they have crossed swords with and even sent to the mists.
So I am here to ask you denizens of all Tyria and beyond who do YOU think is most worthy? Was it someone you fought a mission with? Was is someone you constantly fight alongside with? Maybe even someone you just bought your lockpicks from of just met during Halloween or Wintersday before they disappeared with the snow after the season passed. And lastly could it be you would like to mention some villain who, despite his or her worst intentions, you saw something in them that was carved in your memories? Please tell me just one name as my stock of parchment is running a bit low. To keep is simple, do deem most worthy: Storyline NPC (like the valiant Prince Rurik of old?) Heroes (like the might loudmouth Koss?) Town NPCs (Merchant, Trader, Xunlai Agent?) Villans (The deceiving Lich, corrupted Shiro, or maybe even someone less prominent?) Special Event NPC (Avatars? Mad King Thorn?) Due to my parchment running low, I can only take your first mention. I chose to do this so that no one's opinion is left unhead. Also, to make this more exciting, please state what was it you saw in this individual. I will keep you all informed of the information I receive, so come look back after a while! Greetings, Prism EDIT: I apologize for not making a clear statement (It must have been that Canthan accent I got on my last trip). I am asking for your absolute favourite. While I am sure you whole-heartedly appreciate someone from each section I mentioned, I do not have enough parchment as the last shipment is way overdue) and I'm on my last roll. Captain Rujiyo is one of the more popular Special Event NPC's. DE made a character with that name and logs in during the Dragon Festival and sits in the GH. Oh the PM's he gets sometimes. So awesome.

I'd vote for Mhenlo.
- He is in everywhere (Presearing, Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall, EotN) - He gets all the ladies (That "Welcome to Cantha" quest was like the most hilarious quest in the entire GW )

Storyline NPC: Mhenlo
He's an awesome henchmen, he's everywhere, he gets all the ladies, and he's just overall cool. Not only that, but his performance in factions' storyline was really cool. Also, he's a kurzick :3 Heroes: Livia HOLY RED ENGINE F-ING GORED!!! She's a necromancer hero AND she's hot!? She's the most awesome hero~ Town NPCs: Xunlai Chest Self explanatory. Oh, you can also talk to it. Villains: Shiro Wow, this guy is evil. With an excuse of being manipulated, he had raised an army of deformed people with proteus syndrome, and kills one of the main characters of Factions. Which other Guild Wars antagonist did anything like he did? Not only that, but he actually looks and acts really baddass. Special Event NPC: Gwen. She's the official yandere of guild wars. Now if only she was shouting "Oyashiro-sama made me do it!!" as she was killing everyone. Life would be complete~ |
